Marine Officers Sixth Basic Class of 1967 (BC 6-67) convened on 7 June and graduated 498 second lieutenants on 1 November.  Basic Class 6-67 sent more lieutenants off to battle and suffered more officers killed or wounded than any Basic School class since the Korean War.
